Why a waxed cotton raincoat for your dog?
For the last ten autumns, winters and springs, our two dachshunds have been shaking their booties in the cold, rain and snow in all sorts of coats and knitwear. Thus, we learned a few valuable lessons about efficiency, durability, and style. The sustainability movement in the textile industry quickly got under our skin, making us less and less shy about responsibly sourcing our garments. Our dogs' wardrobe was not left behind.

We are talking about a natural fiber which has water and wind repellent properties but also allows your dog's skin to breath. Don't know about you, but breathing is our favourite life hack. Adapting to ambient temperature, the wax softens and becomes more breathable in warmer weather. Bring it on, summer rain!

A good lesson we learned about dressing up pups is also a physics lesson. Most fabrics have static charges, which can cause aversion to your dog. If you have a short-haired dog or any other vulnerable breed to nature's elements, you want them to happily accept a layer of protection before going outside.
