How to care
You will be happy to know that our garments are
very low maintenance.
Simply hand wash your coat with lukewarm water,
maximum 30 degrees.You can enjoy the coat for many years
re-proofing it with our atomiser.
Material
Rich history. Dating back from the 15th century, the concept of waxed cotton was cleverly created by Scottish sailors and fishermen, who used fish oil on their sails to proof them against the moody sea weather. Soon enough, a whole industry developed around this wonderful innovation.
Efficient and lightweight. Along with its water and wind repellent properties, this beautiful fabric is also adaptive. It acts like a barrier during cold weather and strong winds, becoming more stiff, but also knows how to soften on a clear day, allowing the skin to breath.
Sustainable. Only responsibly sourced cotton, minimal waste, 100% biodegradable. Its durability is doubled by re-proofing, an easy process which can be implemented by the end user.
